Man stabbed after going to shop

Lawmen of the St Ann Police Division have charged 37-year-old Jermaine Campbell, a mason of Alexandria in the parish, with wounding with intent, following an incident which occurred in his community on October 4.
Reports from the St Ann's Bay police are that at 7 p.m. a man went to a shop to purchase items. Upon leaving the establishment, he encountered Campbell blocking his path. Campbell then used a sharp object to inflict stab wounds to the man's chest. The man was taken to the hospital, where he was treated and admitted.
The matter was reported to the police and Campbell was arrested and charged. He is awaiting a court date.
