A woman had 468 gallstones removed after her love for fatty food caused the build-up in her gallbladder which had swollen to almost twice the size of a healthy human's.

The 58-year-old woman was first informed of the gallstones 17 years earlier but refused to change her diet of fried dishes.

Doctor Shen Zhangyi at the Wuhan Jingdu Hospital in Central China's Hubei Province said, "An ultrasound showed the gallbladder filled with stones, but I didn't imagine there would be so many. the gallbladder is usually about the size of a human fist. The patient's was about one and a half times that."

The gallbladder is responsible for the storage of bile, which is produced in the liver to help digest fats. When a diet is high in cholesterol, a build-up occurs in the gallbladder in the form of stones.

A pig with human-like hands has been discovered floating in a lake in the US.

A video posted on YouTube with the title 'Can you identify this dead creature found in a lake with pig head and human hands?' went viral after being shared over 2,000 times since Tuesday.

The unusual creature which initially resembles the average pig left the person filming disturbed by what was in front of him.

Viewers were quick to share their thoughts on what it could be, with one person believing the beast could be a science experiment gone wrong.

However, one user appeared to be the voice of reason, saying: "It's definitely a pig because the claws dissolve in the water when the carcass has been in it for a while."

The user further explained that in pigs' feet, the middle two fingers are enlarged and carry correspondingly large claws.

"The back claws are formed by the outer fingers, or toes, which correspond to our index finger, or the second toe," the user wrote.
