Curfew imposed in ZOSO in Mount Salem

A curfew is currently in effect in sections of the Mount Salem community.

The curfew will run from 6 p.m. today to 6 p.m. Sunday.

The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:

* North along Mount Salem Main Road between Campbell Lane and Clarke Street

* South along Willow Way and Mount Salem Gully

* East along Clarke Street

* West along Campbell Lane and Mount Salem Gully

During the hours of the curfew, all the persons within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised in writing by the joint commanders within the Zone.

The joint commanders are Major Godfrey Sterling and Superintendent Kirk Ricketts.
