Body of man found in 50-foot hole in St Elizabeth
The police in St Elizabeth were called to the community of Claremont, where the body of a man was found in a hole about 50 feet deep on Wednesday morning.
Acting Superintendent of Police, Coleridge Minto, confirmed a recovery operation was set to begin to have the body removed.
"We are awaiting some experts from the scenes of crime, and personnel from our CIB and the fire department to begin. We will also be here to support to community as the extraction begins," Minto said.
The senior cop also confirmed that the police will be holding off revealing the identity of the man until a later time.
